WORKSHOPS

The Counseling Center Outreach Program sponsors workshops and structured groups in a variety of career and personal growth areas which are of interest to USF students. Workshops are offered for one session, usually 1-2 hours in duration, while structured groups are scheduled for two or more sessions. Although most Counseling Center workshops and structured groups are regularly scheduled, they may also be organized at the request of student or staff organizations.

Outreach Program activities are announced in the Counseling Center News, which is distributed on a monthly basis, as well as the student newspaper - The ORACLE. These activities are available to all USF students. USF alumni and staff may attend scheduled workshops and structured groups on a space available basis.

In addition to workshops and structured groups, the Counseling Center provides such professional services as career counseling, personal counseling, psychiatric consultation, reading-study skill enhancement, and veterans services. The Outreach Program's activities are designed to disseminate information, enhance skills, and to promote personal development.
