RESEARCH EXPERIENCE FOR UNDERGRADUATES

The College of Engineering offers a number of Undergraduate Research Associate positions to students of all departments starting Spring 2002.

The positions are available to self-motivated individuals of good academic standing, who are interested in participating in cutting edge research projects. Accepted students will be working together with faculty mentors and graduate students on interdisciplinary research projects.

Appointments can be arranged during the semester or summer break. Work hours will be arranged individually and flexibly between faculty mentors and students.

Accepted students will receive a stipend based on their participation. Participating students are expected to write a short report at the end of each semester. Women and minority students are especially encouraged to apply.
