Purpose: To help familiarize students with Plans and Goals features of the TRAX program

 

Task 1:

            Create an Academic Plan for yourself, which includes Spring 2002, Summer 2002 and Fall 2002 classes.

                        NB => You can find your class information on OASIS

 

How to:

  1. Select the "My Plans & Goals" sub-menu
  2. Select the "Academic Plans" icon
  3. Enter an Academic Plan Name (for example "Academic Standings")
  4. Select "Create Manual Plan"
  5. Select the "Create" icon
  6. Select the "Term" arrow and select Spring 2002
  7. Enter the course name and credit hours
  8. Check whether or not the course is General Education or not
  9. You may enter a note if you wish by clicking on the notepad icon
  10. Select whether or not course was completed
  11. Select "Create" icon, and repeat the procedures 6-10 until all Spring classes have been inputted
  12. Select "Create" icon
  13. Select the "Term" arrow and select Summer 2002
  14. Repeat Procedures 7-10 until all Summer 2002 classes are inputted
  15. Do the same for Fall 2002
  16. When you are done, select the "Print Plan" icon.

 

 

Task 2:

            Based on your intended major, create a future Academic Plan for yourself, which would include at least Spring 2003

 

How to:

  1. Select the "My Plans & Goals" sub-menu
  2. Select the "Academic Plan Year" arrow and select "2nd Year"
  3. Select the "Term" arrow and select Spring 2003
  4. Enter intended classes for Spring 2003 needed in compliance for your intended major
  5. If you do not know any of the names of the future courses, select the "binoculars" icon:

                                                               i.      Select the Department arrow and select the Department of your interest

                                                             ii.      Locate the class of your interest and click on the "Select" arrow beside it

  1. Repeat steps 2-5 until your Spring 2003 schedule is complete
  2. Click the "Save" button
  3. You may create plans for Summer 2003 & Fall 2003 if you wish
